Exigence: an issue that makes us react to a certain situation.

Exigence is what prompts the author to write. It allows for the author to provide a stronger argument and paper. It motivates the writer to research for stronger points to support their point of views. This also leads to new points of views and an opportunity for people to have a better argument against this writer. This motivates people to write and show their inner passion for a certain topic.
