Course Learning Outcome #3

“Negotiate your own writing goals and audience expectations regarding conventions of genre, medium, and rhetorical situation.”
            In high school I would write a paper once and I would be done. This was not the case in English 210. I learned that it does not matter if you think you wrote a perfect paper, it matters about how you can make it better and fit the conventions of the genre. The quality of work is better than the quantity of how much you write. Another thing that this class taught me is how to write about the assignment that was given. Getting rough drafts of assignments and feedback helped a lot to understand the assignment better.
