“Engage in genre analysis and multimodal composing to explore effective writing across disciplinary contexts and beyond.”

The genre analysis assignments were always done after major writing assignments or as a homework assignment. I learned about multimodal to compose effective writing in English 210. There are different genres to express writing and a purpose. For example in the technical proposal we had to create a PowerPoint to show the entire class. 

The technical proposal itself was more lengthy than the PowerPoint. The PowerPoint made it easier for the general audience to understand our goal. The proposal had more in depth information if anyone wanted to learn more about what the goal of our project was.
